STRACON participated in the 27th World Mining Congress 2026, one of the leading global events in the mining industry, where it presented its experience in implementing Peru’s first autonomous truck fleet, sharing the key learnings gained throughout this technological transformation process.

As part of one of the congress’ technical sessions, Luis Sandoval, STRACON’s Project Director, presented the challenges, strategies, and results associated with the implementation of an ultra-class autonomous truck fleet, as well as the capabilities developed by the company to manage an increasingly digitalized mining operation.

The presentation provided an opportunity to share a pioneering experience in the region, addressing key aspects for the adoption of autonomy technologies in mining, from change management and capability development to the integration of new operating models in large-scale projects.
