STRACON promotes career guidance among students in Ancash
As part of its commitment to education and the development of communities near its operations, STRACON carried out a series of career orientation workshops aimed at 4th and 5th-year high school students from three educational institutions located in the communities of Ayash and Santa Cruz de Picchu, in the province of Huari, Ancash, within the influence area of the Antamina project.
The objective of these workshops was to provide young people with tools that would enable them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional future, actively contributing to the construction of their life projects.
Through participatory dynamics and guided reflection spaces, students were able to explore their interests, learn about different alternatives for technical and university education, as well as receive practical advice for planning their personal development.
This initiative is part of STRACON’s social responsibility activities, focused on strengthening local capabilities and promoting educational opportunities that generate a positive and sustainable impact.
At STRACON, we remain committed to our mission of contributing to the comprehensive development of the communities we interact with, betting on education as a driver of change.
