Bogotá, Colombia, May 16, 2024 – STRACON is proud to have participated in the 10th WIN Forum 2024, organized by RELIANZ Mining Solutions, a key event that promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion in the mining industry. This year, we highlighted the involvement of our leaders from the Buriticá project: Laura Suárez, Brialda Valencia, Greis Pereira, Angy Paternina, Leidy Restrepo, Wbeimar Muñoz, Juan Carlos López, and Max Cruz.

A special recognition was given to Angy Paternina, trainee, and Wbeimar Muñoz, multi-operator, who received the prestigious WOW HONORS award for their outstanding contributions to empowerment and gender equity. These awards underscore STRACON’s commitment to fostering equal opportunities and empowerment at all levels of the organization.

Promoting Equal Opportunities in the Industry

During the forum, our Project Manager, Max Cruz, participated in the “Equal to Equal” panel, where he shared insights and strategies for advancing equal opportunities in the mining industry. This panel provided a platform to highlight the importance of creating an inclusive and equitable workplace that encourages participation from everyone, regardless of gender or background.

In addition, STRACON had the honor of contributing to the forum’s Equity Workshops, sharing experiences and knowledge about regulations and best practices in the Colombian mining industry. These contributions reflect our commitment to implementing inclusive policies that benefit all our employees.
