STRACON Drives Local Development with Internship Program at Quellaveco
STRACON has launched an innovative internship program at the Quellaveco project, in collaboration with Anglo American, as part of our Social Responsibility plan. This six-month program is designed to empower local talent, providing participants with valuable tools for their professional development.
Four women from Moquegua are at the forefront of this program, which covers key areas such as technical training, hands-on learning, individualized mentoring, and challenging projects. This comprehensive approach not only enhances their skills but also strengthens inclusion and equity within the mining sector.
The impact of this program goes beyond professional growth. By providing access to training and experience in a large-scale project, STRACON contributes to the economic and social growth of the region, creating a positive effect on local communities.
Moreover, this program reflects STRACON’s commitment to sustainability and the development of the regions where we operate. By investing in local talent, we ensure that the growth of the mining industry goes hand in hand with the progress of the communities.
At STRACON, people are our priority, and through initiatives like this, we continue to build a future with more opportunities for everyone.
