On November 8 and 9, STRACON Colombia made a significant impact at the IMMERSIVE 2023 User Forum, held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. This important event brought together leaders from the mining sector to explore the latest innovations and best practices in the industry.

During the forum, STRACON Colombia showcased its experience in the Colombian mining sector and led a presentation on the “Development of Operational Competencies in the UG 360 Simulator.” This advanced tool, which includes simulators for operating scoops, dumpers, and jumbo drills in underground mines, has proven to be a fundamental strategy in our approach to training and developing operators.

The use of simulators is a key tactic to ensure that future operators acquire practical and precise skills tailored to the specific conditions of underground mining. The implementation of this technology reinforces our commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in all the countries where we carry out projects.
