After four months of implementation, the Women Mining Operators Program, developed by STRACON in partnership with Fenix Gold, concluded with the certification of 27 women from the Atacama Region. The initiative aimed to strengthen participants’ technical skills and expand their employment opportunities within the mining industry.

The program provided comprehensive training that combined theoretical instruction, simulator-based training, and hands-on practice with real equipment in operational settings, allowing participants to gain experience under the industry’s operational and safety standards.

This initiative contributes to the development of local talent and promotes greater female participation in operational roles within the mining activity in the region.
