STRACON and Curimining Complete Professional Driver Training in Ecuador
On Friday, December 1, STRACON, in collaboration with Curimining and our partner Ripconciv, celebrated the completion of the Professional Heavy Machinery Driver Training (License G) in Bolívar province, Las Naves canton, Ecuador. The event saw the graduation of 52 participants, 15% of whom were women, reflecting our commitment to promoting the inclusion of women in the mining sector.
This important training program was made possible through a strategic alliance with Curimining and Ripconciv, along with the support of the Professional Driver Training School (ESCOP UTPL). During the ceremony, the joint efforts to provide quality education and strengthen local community participation in the mining industry were highlighted. Additionally, in collaboration with WIM Ecuador, scholarships were awarded to new candidates, facilitating greater access to this initiative and encouraging more people to join future training programs.
This collective effort underscores our commitment to promoting sustainable development and equal opportunities in the communities where we operate. Through these actions, we aim not only to enhance the technical skills of the participants but also to contribute to the social and economic progress of the region, reaffirming our dedication to responsible and sustainable mining.
