STRACON wins mining contract for Aurora Project

Just one month after its successful acquisition by Ashmore Group and Steve Dixon, the STRACON company won a contract in the "Aurora" mining project, owned by Guyana Goldfields Inc., located in Bartica, Guyana.

The execution of the works, which began in July of this year, was granted for a total of USD 64 million and will last approximately 42 months.

The activities in charge of STRACON will consist in the removal of vegetation, drilling, blasting, loading and transport, ore and clearing. It will also include preparation of access and drainage system, construction and maintenance of the main haul roads and maintenance of production and support equipment.
